Job summary

Verisys is seeking a hands-on Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, secure, and scale the AWS-based infrastructure behind our healthcare credentialing platform. The role is remote, with strong ownership and cross-domain responsibilities spanning cloud engineering, systems administration, and devops.

You will act as the Linux SME, manage on-prem Nutanix, container platforms (Rancher, ECS Anywhere), and SSL/TLS/cert management while aligning with HITRUST/SOC2 needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, and/or systems administration.
• 3+ years supporting production workloads in AWS.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong automation scripting with Python, PowerShell, Bash.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate secure AWS infrastructure with focus on security and DR.
• Manage infrastructure as code (CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Run container workloads on ECS/ECS Anywhere and manage Rancher clusters.
• Administer Linux and Windows Server environments, on prem Nutanix.
