Job summary

Invenergy is seeking an experienced AVEVA PI System Administrator to own enterprise AVEVA PI environments, including Data Archives, AF, interfaces, and PI Vision. The role emphasizes data integration, reliability, and collaboration with IT and OT teams across projects.

You will lead architecture improvements, automate maintenance, and mentor junior staff while enabling real-time data pipelines for operations. This position supports remote engagement within the United States.

Qualifications

• Five or more years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments including Data Archives, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, Adapters, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, PI Vision.

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for OT systems, focusing on AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into the AVEVA PI System from OT platforms, including SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs, and other sources.
• Investigate, evaluate, and integrate complex OT systems with the AVEVA PI System.
• Administer and support PI System components such as PI Data Archive, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, Adapters, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, and PI Vision.
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and platform reliability.
• Coordinate with IT for infrastructure upgrades, patching and maintenance activities.
