Job summary

Invenergy, a leading North American energy infrastructure developer, seeks an experienced AVEVA PI Specialist to manage enterprise PI environments and OT data integrations. You will design scalable PI architectures, automate maintenance, and collaborate with IT for upgrades.

Responsibilities include configuring data collection from OT sources, maintaining PI components, and mentoring junior staff. Strong scripting skills and background in .NET/PowerShell/Python are required.

Qualifications

• Five+ years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments including Data Archive, Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, and PI Vision.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and troubleshooting communication issues.
• Proficiency with programming and scripting languages such as .NET, PowerShell, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for OT systems, focusing on AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into the AVEVA PI System from OT platforms (SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs).
• Investigate, evaluate, and integrate complex OT systems with PI System.
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and platform reliability.
• Develop automation for system maintenance and custom telemetry feeds using Python, PowerShell, and .NET.
• Maintain technical documentation for implemented solutions and integrations.
