Job summary

Invenergy is seeking an experienced AVEVA PI System Engineer to act as the subject matter expert for OT data integrations and PI System operations. You will configure data collection from OT platforms, maintain PI components, and lead architecture improvements to ensure reliability and scalability.

The role requires 5+ years in enterprise AVEVA PI environments, strong scripting in .NET, PowerShell, and Python, and collaboration with IT and operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years administering enterprise AVEVA PI environments (Data Archives, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, PI Vision).
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with .NET, PowerShell, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for OT systems with focus on AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into AVEVA PI System from OT platforms (SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs).
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and platform reliability.
• Develop automation for system maintenance and custom telemetry feeds using Python, PowerShell, and .NET.
• Maintain technical documentation and support data pipelines for Operations Engineering.
