Job summary

Invenergy is seeking an experienced AVEVA PI System expert to administer enterprise-scale PI environments and drive data integrations from OT sources. You will design scalable data pipelines, manage PI components, and lead reliability improvements across the PI system.

The role involves coordinating with IT and stakeholders for upgrades, creating automation, and mentoring junior staff to support control center data needs.

Qualifications

• Five or more years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments incl. Data Archives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API & PI Vision.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and troubleshooting communication issues.
• Proficiency with programming/scripting: .NET, PowerShell, Python.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for OT systems, focusing on AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into PI System from OT platforms (SCADA, DCS, RTU, PLC).
• Investigate, evaluate, and integrate complex OT systems with PI System.
• Administer PI components: Data Archive, Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, PI Vision.
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and reliability.
• Develop automation for maintenance and telemetry feeds using Python, PowerShell, and .NET.
