Job summary

Invenergy is seeking an experienced OT PI System specialist to manage AVEVA PI environments and lead data integrations across OT sources. You will configure data collection, administer PI components, and drive improvements to system architecture and reliability.

You will collaborate with IT and operations, developing automation in Python, PowerShell, and .NET, while guiding onboarding for new projects and providing mentorship to junior staff.

Qualifications

• Five+ years administering enterprise AVEVA PI environments (Data Archive, AF, Collectives, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, PI Vision).
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and troubleshooting communication issues.
• Proficiency with programming/scripting languages such as .NET, PowerShell, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for OT systems, focusing on AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into AVEVA PI System from OT sources (SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs).
• Investigate, evaluate, and integrate new OT systems with AVEVA PI System.
• Administer PI components (PI Data Archive, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, etc.).
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and reliability.
