Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a seasoned OT systems expert to lead AVEVA PI implementations and data integrations for enterprise-scale operations in the United States. Qualifications

• Five or more years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with programming and scripting in .NET, PowerShell, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for OT systems focusing on AVEVA PI.
• Configure and maintain data collection into the PI System from OT platforms.
• Investigate and integrate unfamiliar OT systems with PI.
• Administer PI System components (PI Data Archive, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, Adapters, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, PI Vision).
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture and reliability.
• Coordinate infra upgrades, patching, and maintenance with IT.
• Design scalable workarounds for system limitations.
• Prepare business justifications for modernization and expansion.
• Develop automation for maintenance and telemetry feeds using Python, PowerShell, and .NET.
• Lead investigation and resolution of complex PI System issues affecting performance.
• Maintain technical documentation.
• Support Operations Engineering with data pipelines and automation.
• Maintain real-time data collection for control center operations.
• Lead onboarding for new project startups.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
