Job summary

Invenergy, headquartered in Chicago, IL, seeks an experienced AVEVA PI System SME to administer enterprise-scale PI environments, drive data integration across OT sources, and lead modernization efforts. You will implement scalable PI architecture, automate maintenance tasks, and collaborate with IT for upgrades and reliability.

This role supports real-time data pipelines for control center operations. The position emphasizes hands-on PI system management, cross-team coordination, and mentoring

Qualifications

• Five or more years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments (Data Archive, Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, Adapters, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, PI Vision).
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and data integration concepts.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting with .NET, PowerShell, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for OT systems with focus on AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection from OT platforms into PI System (SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs).
• Investigate and integrate complex OT systems with PI System; lead architecture improvements.
• Maintain PI System components and support reliability and data availability.
• Develop automation and telemetry feeds using Python, PowerShell, and .NET.
• Coordinate infrastructure upgrades, patching, and maintenance with IT and stakeholders.
