Job summary

General Motors seeks a Staff Systems Engineer to lead AV system architecture across products and functional areas. You will define system-level requirements, balance compute and memory resources, and ensure safe, reliable integration of vehicle platforms.

You will mentor engineers, drive roadmaps, and collaborate with autonomy software, firmware, hardware, and validation teams to meet safety and performance goals. This role is remote within an approved California city.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in systems engineering for embedded automotive/robotics or related fields.
• Strong understanding of AV/ADAS domains and embedded computing platforms.
• Experience with system modeling, simulation, and requirements management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end systems engineering for embedded AV/ADAS platforms.
