Job summary

Encore is seeking a Sr. Technical Lead to bridge between a technical lead and a technical specialist, focusing on mid-tier general sessions and assisting with larger sessions. Reports to an Operations Manager or Director.

The role involves operating and troubleshooting advanced audiovisual equipment, adhering to security and safety measures, and collaborating with hotel staff and clients to ensure exceptional event experiences. Leadership and mentoring of staff are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of field experience in specialty area is required.
• 2-3 years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• External applicants must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Ability to interact professionally with a diverse workforce, customer base and senior level management.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members in positions that may operate Company vehicles.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Setup, operation, and breakdown of advanced audiovisual equipment.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent service and maintain client relationships.
• Training/Staff Development: Mentor and coach staff to develop technical skills and leadership.
• Event Supervision: Lead and direct technicians during events.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper security, storage, and maintenance of equipment.
