Job summary

AVI-SPL, Inc. is seeking an Installation Technician 3 to lead installation crews on projects, perform cable pulls, terminations, rack fabrication, and wiring for AV systems. You will coordinate with Project Managers to ensure projects meet time, scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction requirements.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, testing systems, tracking equipment, and communicating site progress. Travel to several job sites is required as part of this role.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with clients and team members.
• Safe use of hand and power tools in installation work.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints for AV systems.
• Knowledge of wiring configurations and signal flow for AV systems.
• Proficiency with test equipment used in AV installations.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation tasks and client training as per project scope.
• Lead Level 1 Technicians on smaller projects; oversee quality of work.
• Read and interpret system schematics and blueprints.
• Test point-to-point cabling and verify system functionality.
• Track and secure all equipment on site; manage tools.
• Coordinate with Project Manager on status and changes.
• Travel to various job sites as required.
• Communicate daily job site status to Project Manager.
