Ryder System, Inc. seeks an IT Senior Manager for Smart Automation and Platforms to provide technical leadership across automation initiatives, including UiPath, ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Automate, Copilot Studio and AI integrations.

You will lead a team of engineers and platform architects to deliver secure, scalable automation across cloud and on‑prem environments. The role partners with business leaders to define roadmaps, governance, and standards, drive architecture decisions, and ensure

Qualifications

8+ years in IT or software engineering with 3+ years leading technical teams.
Deep knowledge of UiPath orchestrator and automation workflows.
Expertise in ServiceNow workflow engines and integration hub.
Strong background in Power Automate cloud flows, desktop flows, and Dataverse.
Hands-on experience with AI builders and cognitive services.
Proficient in Agile and DevOps practices for automation (CI/CD).

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, technical leads, and platform architects.
Own the roadmap, strategy, standards, operating model, and adoption plan for automation platforms.
Drive the architectural vision, tech stack evolution, and code quality standards for automation architectures.
Embed generative and traditional AI tools into workflows to boost system capabilities.
Establish governance for automation development, security, reusable components, and audits.
Manage automation opportunity pipeline and report realized benefits to stakeholders.
