Job summary

The technician will work with ASE-certified categories, manage service orders, participate in training, and meet productivity standards in a 40-hour, non-exempt schedule.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze and interpret technical instructions, journals, or regulations.
• Explain vehicle information to customers and coworkers.
• Diagnose and recommend solutions to basic automotive problems.
• Interpret and apply written or diagram instructions.
• Perform the required automotive services listed in the duties.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize workplace safety as #1 and report unsafe conditions.
• Provide diagnosis, repair and maintenance for vehicles across ASE categories A1–A8.
• Ensure Service Work Order is started and displayed during service.
• Complete MPI before service and support the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement Process.
• Return parts and ensure proper handling of cores, batteries and tires.
• Maintain productivity targets and complete required training and certifications.
• Adhere to VIP quality standards and participate in team meetings.
