Job summary

The Technician will handle parts from the Desk Team, perform ASE-based competencies, and participate in a 5-for-5 customer engagement process. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, procedures, or regulations.
• Explain vehicle information clearly to customers.
• Diagnose and recommend solutions to basic automotive problems.
• Interpret, understand, and apply instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to perform the automotive services listed in the responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain workplace safety as priority; follow safety policies and training.
• Provide diagnosis, repair, and maintenance services for automotive systems.
• Initiate and display Service Work Orders; ensure MPI is completed.
• Obtain needed parts from Desk Team; return unused parts after service.
• Road test vehicles after service to ensure safety and quality.
• Maintain clean work area and shop equipment; adhere to safety and loss prevention policies.
• Train and complete required LMS and certification programs.
