Job summary

VIP, Inc. in Farmington, ME seeks a Master Technician to diagnose and repair automotive systems, perform maintenance, and ensure quality work the first time. You will follow safety policies and VIP processes to deliver a better customer experience.

You will complete service work orders, MPI checks, and participate in training to maintain ASE certifications and state inspections. A clean, organized shop and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience in automotive service field.
• Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence.
• Equipment Safety Certification (if applicable)
• ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5) recommended for Master Technician.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems per VIP standards.
• Perform maintenance and parts replacement including engines, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and tires.
• Initiate and display Service Work Orders and MPI prior to service; support 5-for-5 Customer Engagement.
