Job summary

Withum's audit and attest engagements are the cornerstone of our firm. This Senior Auditor role will be based out of our Houston, TX office. You'll lead engagements from planning to completion, supervising staff and building relationships with clients.

Withum supports your growth as you oversee day-to-day audit operations, collaborate on issues with managers and partners, and ensure accurate financial reporting under US GAAP while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• Licensed CPA or working toward CPA certification.
• At least 2 years of public accounting experience with team leadership.
• Strong analytical and auditing capabilities with US GAAP familiarity.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement staff on planning and execution of audits, reviews or compilations.
• Oversee day-to-day audit engagement operations including staffing and risk assessment.
• Provide supervision and mentor staff; maintain client relationships.
• Collaborate with managers/partners on issue resolutions and regulatory considerations.
• Review general ledger accounts and manage multiple engagements concurrently.
• Track budgets and ensure timely delivery of results.
• Participate in professional development and training activities.
