Job summary

Withum in Houston, TX seeks a Senior Auditor to lead engagements from planning to completion, supervising staff and building strong client relationships. You will work with a seasoned team of CPAs to deliver high-quality audit, review, or compilation services across diverse clients.

Required are a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA (or pursuing), and 2+ years in public accounting with leadership experience. Travel may be required as part of client service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA certification or active pursuit is preferred.
• 2+ years of public accounting experience with leadership of multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit, review or compilation engagements from planning to completion.
• Supervise staff and provide coaching and feedback.
• Manage engagement budgets and timelines.
• Collaborate with managers/partners on issue resolution and regulatory considerations.
• Review general ledger accounts for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate multiple engagements with different teams to meet deadlines.
• Provide training and contribute to staff development.
