Withum is seeking a Senior Auditor to lead engagements from planning to completion at the Houston, TX office. You will supervise staff, mentor junior team members, and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA (or in progress), and 2+ years of public accounting experience. US GAAP knowledge and travels as needed are expected.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• CPA licensure or pursuit of CPA certification.
• 2+ years public accounting; led multiple engagements and supervised staff.
• Strong analytical/technical auditing skills; familiarity with US GAAP.
• Excellent client service and communication; build strong client relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Leadership and mentoring; strong communication skills.
• Analytical/organizational and project management skills; detail-oriented.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Leading the engagement team staff on planning and execution of audit, review or compilation engagements.
• Overseeing day-to-day operations of the audit engagement from staffing to conclusion.
• Providing supervision and support to engagement staff and communicating with management.
• Collaborating with managers and partners on client issue resolutions and regulatory/ accounting recommendations.
• Reviewing general ledger accounts for accuracy.
• Managing multiple engagements with different teams to meet deadlines.
• Creating and tracking engagement budgets.
• Conducting performance discussions and coaching team members.

Educación

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

CPA certification or in progress

Public accounting experience (2+ years)
