Withum is seeking a Senior Auditor based in Houston, TX to lead all aspects of audit engagements, from planning to completion, supervising staff, and building client relationships. You will work with seasoned CPAs and contribute to high-quality financial reporting across client industries.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA or active CPA licensing, and at least 2 years of public accounting experience with leadership on multiple engagements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• Licensed CPA or pursuing CPA certification.
• At least 2 years of public accounting experience with leadership of multiple engagements.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills with US GAAP knowledge.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with ability to manage relationships.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Aufgaben

• Lead planning and execution of audit, review or compilation engagements to deliver world-class client service.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the audit engagement including staffing, planning, risk assessment and reporting.
• Provide supervision and mentoring to staff and maintain open communication with managers and partners.
• Collaborate with management on client issue resolutions and regulatory considerations during audits.
• Review general ledger accounts for accuracy and completeness.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently to meet deadlines.
• Create and track engagement budgets and identify inefficiencies.
• Provide coaching and participate in professional development activities.
• Serve as instructor or discussion leader in training programs.
