Withum is seeking a Senior Auditor to lead audit engagements from planning to completion at our Houston, TX office. You will supervise staff, mentor juniors, and build strong client relationships while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and high-quality deliverables.

You will collaborate with managers and partners on complex issues, manage budgets, and contribute to professional development within a fast-paced, client-focused team. Travel as needed is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• Licensed CPA or working towards CPA certification.
• At least 2 years of public accounting experience, with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills with familiarity with US GAAP.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Lead the engagement team in planning and executing audit, review or compilation engagements to deliver high-quality client service.
• Oversee day-to-day audit engagement activities including staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork and financial reporting.
• Supervise staff and mentor junior team members; communicate with engagement manager and partner.
• Collaborate with managers and partners on client issue resolutions and accounting/regulatory guidance.
• Review general ledger accounts for accuracy and manage multiple engagements to meet deadlines.
• Assist in budgeting and monitoring engagement efficiency; participate in professional development activities.
