Novogradac is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage audit and attest assignments, supervising Staff and mentoring junior team members. The role emphasizes independent problem solving, strengthening client relationships, and increasing team profitability within the firm’s Tax/Audit practice.

Responsibilities include engagement management, data analysis, research, and reporting. The ideal candidate has a CPA focus or progress toward licensure and can travel domestically as needed;

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; 2–3 years public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting and auditing rules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to sit for CPA exam or have passed sections is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Complete audit/attest projects for designated clients with minimal oversight.
• Conduct engagement reviews thoroughly.
• Accept increasing engagement management responsibilities.
• Identify potential issues during engagements and propose solutions.
• Perform research, gather data, interpret results, and prepare reports.
