Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our fast-growing firm. You will manage tax, audit and related assignments with minimal supervision while mentoring Staff Accountants and helping strengthen client relationships.

This role emphasizes independent problem solving, accuracy, and contributing to team profitability. Some positions may be remote or hybrid; travel domestically may be required and CPA licensure progress is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; 3–5 years public accounting experience.
• Ability to sit for the CPA exam or passed section of the CPA; CPA license a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting and tax rules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced and shifting workload; prioritize effectively.
• Willingness to travel domestically.

Responsibilities

• Complete tax and/or audit projects with minimal oversight by Managers.
• Conduct engagement reviews.
• Accept increasing responsibility for engagement management.
• Mentor and supervise Staff Accountants.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and profitability.
• Pursue CPA licensure if not yet obtained.
