Job summary

Novogradac is hiring a Senior Accountant to manage audit and attest projects, mentoring staff and strengthening client relations. The role emphasizes independent problem solving within the Firm’s Audit practice, with time spent on developing audit-specific expertise.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance and 2–3 years in public accounting, with strong communication and organizational skills. Travel domestically may be required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years public accounting experience or equivalent mix of education and work experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting and auditing rules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete audit and/or attest projects for designated clients with minimal oversight.
• Conduct engagement reviews and supervise Staff Accountants.
• Develop client relationships and improve team profitability.
• Provide audit-specific technical expertise and research as needed.
• Support CPA license pursuit and professional development.
