Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP seeks a Senior Accountant to manage audit and attest engagements for designated clients, with a focus on mentorship and independent problem solving. The role emphasizes client relationships, efficiency, and profitability within the Firm’s Tax/Audit practice.

The position requires a CPA-leaning background, strong communication, and the ability to supervise Staff Accountants while developing audit-specific technical expertise. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; advanced degree is a plus.
• 2–3 years of experience in public accounting.
• Ability to sit for the CPA exam or passed sections is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting and auditing rules.

Responsibilities

• Complete audit and attest projects for designated clients with minimal oversight.
• Conduct engagement reviews and manage engagement timelines.
• Develop, strengthen and maintain client relationships and profitability.
• Supervise and mentor Staff Accountants.
