Job summary

Novogradac is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead audit engagements, supervise staff, and build strong client relationships. The role emphasizes technical audit expertise, problem solving, and profitability growth within the Firm's Tax/Audit practice.

Expect to mentor Staff Accountants, pursue CPA licensure if not yet obtained, and manage multiple engagements with minimal supervision while delivering quality work to our clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA exam eligibility a plus.
• 2–3 years in public accounting or relevant balance of education and experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting and auditing rules; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Complete audit/attest projects with minimal oversight.
• Supervise Staff and mentor for engagement success.
• Develop client relationships and improve profitability.
• Research and analyze data, prepare reports and recommendations.
• Sit for CPA exam or advance toward licensure if not yet obtained.
