Job summary

Novogradac is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage audit and attest engagements, supervising Staff, and strengthening client relationships within our Tax/Audit practice.

You will develop audit-specific expertise, mentor staff, and contribute to profitability while pursuing CPA certification. Evening and weekend availability and domestic travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 2–3 years of public accounting experience.
• Ability to sit for CPA exam or has passed sections.
• Strong understanding of accounting and auditing rules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Complete audit and attest projects for designated clients with minimal oversight.
• Conduct thorough engagement reviews.
• Accept increasing responsibility for engagement management.
• Maintain client relationships with professionalism and responsiveness.
• Perform research, gather data, interpret results, and make recommendations.
• Mentor Staff Accountants and supervise the team.
• Support CPA qualification efforts as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
