Job summary

Maher Duessel is seeking Senior Auditors to join our firm in Erie. Senior Auditors can perform most engagements with minimal supervision, direct and review the work of staff auditors, and resolve accounting, tax, and auditing matters with sound judgment.

Qualifications

• Undergrad/grad degree in accounting and CPA eligibility.
• 2+ years of accounting experience; public accounting preferred.
• Government/non-profit audit experience preferred.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop people by delegating tasks and guiding staff.
• Provide performance feedback and complete evaluations.
• Foster an efficient, team-oriented environment.
• Use technology to learn and improve service delivery.
• Direct fieldwork; plan, coordinate, and supervise audit phases.

• Build public speaking and presentation skills.
• Manage overtime to complete audits with the team.
