Withum is seeking an Audit Supervisor to lead engagements from planning through completion, mentoring staff, and building client relationships. You’ll oversee staffing, risk assessment, fieldwork, and reporting, ensuring world-class service across diverse industries.

A CPA or progress toward CPA is required, with 3+ years in public accounting and strong US GAAP knowledge. The role is hybrid, based in the Portland area with a base in Houston, TX, and offers a competitive compensation range plus

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA license or working toward certification.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience, with experience leading multiple engagements.
• Strong analytical, technical, and auditing skills including familiarity with US GAAP.
• Excellent client service and communication skills with ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Leading the engagement team staff on the planning and execution of an audit, review or compilation engagement to provide world-class client service.
• Overseeing day-to-day operations of the audit engagement including staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, and financial reporting.
• Providing supervision to engagement staff and promoting open communication with the engagement partner.
• Collaborating with seniors or supervisors and partners on client issue resolution and recommendations for regulatory and accounting issues.
• Managing multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to meet client deadlines.
• Creating and tracking engagement budgets and providing guidance to team members on evaluations.
• Serving in professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader.
