Job summary

Withum is seeking an Audit Supervisor to lead audit engagements from planning to completion, supervising staff and maintaining client relationships. Based in Houston, you’ll work with seasoned CPAs and partners to deliver high-quality services.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Accounting, CPA or progress toward CPA, and 3+ years in public accounting with GAAP knowledge. The role offers a competitive salary, benefits, and a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• CPA certification preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Leading the engagement team staff on planning and execution of audits, reviews, or compilations.
• Overseeing day-to-day operations of the audit engagement from staffing to financial reporting.
• Providing supervision to engagement staff, seniors and supervisors.
• Collaborating on client issue resolution and regulatory considerations.
• Managing multiple engagements concurrently to meet deadlines.
• Tracking engagement budgets and mentoring team members.
• Participating in professional development programs as an instructor or leader.
