Job summary

Withum is seeking an Audit Supervisor based in the Houston area to lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion. You will supervise staff, coordinate with partners, and ensure high-quality client service while navigating complex accounting issues under US GAAP.

This role requires significant travel as needed and a CPA or progress toward CPA is preferred. You will work with seasoned CPAs and industry leaders within an integrated team, contributing to planning, risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA license or working towards CPA certification with parts passed.
• At least 3 years of public accounting experience leading multiple engagements.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including familiarity with US GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement teams on planning and execution of audits, reviews, or compilations.
• Oversee day-to-day audit engagement operations from staffing to financial reporting.
• Supervise and mentor staff, promote open communication with the engagement partner.
• Collaborate with seniors, supervisors, and partners on issue resolution and regulatory considerations.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently and monitor budgets and timelines.
