Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a Senior Associate in Merger Integration & Carve-outs within its PEPI MI&C team in the US. The role focuses on delivering integration excellence across pre‑ and post‑close activities, with exposure to high‑profile deals and a clear path for career growth.

You will work on Day 1/Day 100 planning, operational improvements, and cross‑functional initiatives, including finance, HR, IT, and supply chain, while traveling extensively to support deals.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of professional consulting experience in merger integration, business transformation, and change management.
• Experience in integration planning and divestitures is a plus but not required.
• Deep functional expertise in finance, HR/organizational design, or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide service excellence by identifying client issues and developing actionable recommendations.
• Assist with workstreams within the Integration Management Office (IMO) such as synergies, TSAs, Day 1 Readiness, and integration roadmaps.
• Lead Day 1 and Day 100 planning, execution, and performance improvements across functions like finance, supply chain, IT, and operations.
• Track progress against milestones and adapt strategies as needed.
