Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Senior Associate in Merger Integration & Carve-Outs within its Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) MI&C team. You will support end-to-end integration initiatives for complex deals, leveraging structured methods and broad functional expertise.

You will work on Day 1/Day 100 planning, synergy identification, and organizational design, with significant travel and exposure to high-profile transactions across the US.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of professional consulting experience in merger integration, business transformation, and change management.
• Experience in integration planning and divestitures is a plus.
• Functional expertise in Finance & Accounting, HR/Organizational design, Role and Job Analysis, Leadership and Stakeholder Involvement, Communications planning, Knowledge Management.
• Proven ability to drive revenue and profitability growth initiatives operationally.
• Program management and leadership experience.
• Experience designing and leading change/communications strategies.
• MBA preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Initiative and drive.
• Travel flexibility up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Senior Associate will identify client issues and develop recommendations.
• Assist with workstreams within the Integration Management Office (IMO) – Synergies, TSAs, Day 1 Readiness, etc.
• Plan Day 1 and Day 100 and drive performance in strategy, operations, and back office areas.
• Focus areas include supply chain, IT/ reporting integration, and customer management.
• Track progress against objectives and adjust integration strategies as needed.
