Alvarez & Marsal in Chicago is seeking a Senior Associate for the Corporate Transactions Group (CTG) focused on M&A execution. You will contribute to due diligence, integration planning, and client delivery, working with senior leaders in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

The role requires 3+ years in consulting or related operations, with Big 4 or top-tier firm experience and MBA preferred. Travel up to 75% and US work authorization are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in professional consulting or operational roles; Big 4 or top-tier strategy firm preferred.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• Experience with complex M&A execution, integrations, and divestitures is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Serve on a workstream for enterprise-wide M&A projects, delivering high-quality client analysis and work products.
• Support operational diligence and/or functional analysis during pre-signing activities.
• Help clients understand overlaps, develop integration/separation work plans, and resolve issues on A&M projects.
• Identify business issues and opportunities with analysis and recommendations to mitigate risk and maximize upside.
• Support career development and lead initiatives such as recruiting, training, and other programs.
