Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Senior Associate for the PEPI HR M&A practice to drive project management across pre‑ and post‑deal human capital work. You will leverage HR consulting expertise, coordinate with client teams, and contribute to diligence and integration efforts.

The role requires 3–6 years in HR consulting with strong analytical and communication skills, plus the ability to manage complex, time‑sensitive engagements in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, actuarial science, statistics, economics, mathematics, business, accounting or finance is required.
• 3 to 6 years’ experience in HR consulting or related field.
• Strong analytical skills; high proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Prior M&A experience highly considered
• Outstanding communication skills—oral and written; able to work under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage project tasks across HR M&A engagements within PEPI lifecycle.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams and client stakeholders.
• Build and maintain financial models and workforce planning tools for diligence.
• Prepare observations from public documents and request lists for data rooms.
• Input into human capital diligence reports and collaborate with other practice groups.
