Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Senior Associate level project manager for a dedicated PEPI HR M&A role. The candidate should have 3–6 years of HR consulting experience, with depth in total rewards or M&A projects.

The role focuses on pre/post‑deal HR advisory within PEPI across HR operations, compensation, retirement, and benefits. Responsibilities include managing data rooms, drafting diligence reports, building workforce models, and coordinating with PE teams and client executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR management, actuarial science, statistics, economics, mathematics, business, accounting, or finance.
• 3–6 years of experience in HR consulting or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with MS Office proficiency.
• Prior M&A exposure is highly valued.
• Excellent written and oral communication; able to handle tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the online data room and support diligence efforts across HR M&A workstreams.
• Draft and contribute to diligence reports; quantify HR risk and exposure.
• Build and maintain workforce and total rewards financial models.
• Coordinate across A&M practice groups and with client executives and targets.
• Prepare observations from public document reviews and drive request lists.
