Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Associate, Broker Dealer Operations to join Coinbase Capital Markets. You will own end-to-end broker-dealer workflows, manage complex reconciliations, and partner with Apex and internal teams to automate and strengthen controls.

You will collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate requirements into tooling, dashboards, and automated processes while maintaining human oversight for risk and compliance. Remote-first, hybrid in-person sessions apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services operations or broker-dealer functions including U.S. equities lifecycle (orders, settlement, cash, positions).
• Ability to independently manage complex issues across multiple systems without relying on runbooks.
• Experience authoring or improving SOPs, runbooks, controls docs, or audit materials in a regulated setting.

Responsibilities

• Own recurring broker-dealer operations workflows across reconciliations, corporate actions, settlements, transfers, and regulatory reporting support.
• Perform daily reconciliations between Coinbase and Apex, document root causes, and drive resolution.
• Coordinate remediation across multiple teams for time-sensitive incidents and regulatory impact.
• Create and maintain audit-ready documentation like SOPs, runbooks, and control checklists.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define requirements, test new functionality, and improve tooling and dashboards.
• Lead process-improvement initiatives to reduce manual work and strengthen operational resilience.
