Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Senior Logistics Management Specialist to support Army Sustainment Command (ASC) activities, including LOGCAP contract management, requirement packet development, and performance analysis.

The role may work CONUS/OCONUS with on-site presence and travel. Applicants should hold an active DoD Secret clearance, US citizenship, and 5+ years in logistics/acquisition with procurement experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred, or a High School Diploma with 10+ years of related

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing U.S. Army logistics and acquisition activities or equivalent.
High School Diploma with 10+ years of experience planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing U.S. Army logistics and acquisition activities or equivalent.
Concurrent 5 years of experience with pre-award procurement activities such as analyzing/documenting requirements, revising performance work statements, procurement/project planning/management, and tracking procurement activities to ensure DoD compliance.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must be able to report onsite 5 days a week and travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain LOGCAP contract requirements packets, screen for completeness and accuracy, and assess suitability.
Provide recommendations to the Branch Chief and requiring activity.
Provide status reports and updates to the Government on requirements, current and emerging.
Provide technical assistance and information to customers and Government staff on packet development, reviews, validation, and project schedules.
Perform technical reviews/analysis of contractor estimates/proposals for PPRs and change proposals.
Monitor theater logistical priorities via daily operations and staff meetings.
Lead portions of meetings supporting logistics for requiring activity as needed.
Maintain liaison with requiring activities, performance contractors, contracting officials and program staff.
Analyze contractor monthly workload to project future quarters.
Review projections for adjustments like troop surges or seasonal requirements.
Prepare monitoring reports and briefings on contractor schedules, performance metrics, LOTDs, and COPs.
Offer recommendations for changes in operations requirements and PWS revisions.
Conduct in-depth research on emerging missions, policies, and directives.
