Job summary

Serco is seeking a Senior Logistics Management Specialist to support Army Sustainment Command (ASC) on a CONUS/OCONUS contract. The role involves developing requirements packets, conducting analyses, and coordinating with government and contractor teams.

A DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship are required. The position requires onsite presence five days per week and up to 10% travel to remote locations for site surveys and requirements validation.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain)
• US Citizenship required
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of Army logistics planning or High School Diploma with 10+ years of related experience
• 5 years of experience in pre-award procurement activities (requirements analysis, WBS/spec revisions, procurement planning)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Willingness to report onsite 5 days a week
• Ability to travel up to 10% to remote locations and perform site surveys

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain LOGCAP contract requirements packets (technical data packages, exhibits, diagrams, etc).
• Screen requirements for completeness and accuracy, and suitability.
• Provide recommendations to Branch Chief and requiring activity.
• Provide status reports and updates to the Government on all requirements.
• Offer technical training and information to customers and Government staff.
• Review contractor estimates/proposals on PPRs and change proposals.
• Monitor theater logistical priorities via daily operations and meetings.
• Lead portions of meetings in support of logistics to requiring activity.
• Maintain liaison with requiring activities, contractors, contracting officials and PMO staff.
• Analyze monthly workload and project future quarters’ workload.
• Review projections for troop surge, seasonal requirements, etc.
• Prepare monitoring reports, briefings and information papers on schedules and metrics.
