Job summary

Serco is seeking a Senior Logistics Management Specialist to support the Army Sustainment Command (ASC) through the GLASS team. The role involves developing requirements packets, conducting analyses, and coordinating with government staff to ensure timely logistics and procurement efforts across CONUS/OCONUS locations.

The position requires an active DoD Secret clearance, US citizenship, and relevant experience; travel up to 10% may be required, and onsite work is expected five days a week.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required.
• US citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in U.S. Army logistics or similar.
• High School Diploma with 10 years of experience in logistics.
• Experience with pre-award procurement activities and project planning/management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain LOGCAP contract requirements packets and related documentation.
• Provide recommendations to the Branch Chief and requiring activity.
• Provide status reports and updates to the Government on requirements and schedules.
• Offer technical assistance, training, and information to customers and Government staff on requirements packets and processes.
• Review contractor estimates/proposals for PPRs and change proposals.
• Monitor theater logistical priorities through daily operations and meetings.
• Lead portions of meetings supporting logistics for requiring activity.
• Maintain liaison with program staff, contracting officials, and performers.
• Analyze monthly workload and project future quarterly workloads.
• Review projections and adjust for troop surge or seasonal needs.
• Prepare monitoring reports, briefings, and information papers on schedules and performance.
• Provide recommendations for changing operations requirements and PWS revisions.
• Conduct in-depth research on emerging missions, policies, and directives.
