Job summary

Serco Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Logistics Management Specialist to support Army Sustainment Command (ASC) operations.

You will develop and maintain LOGCAP contract requirements packets, provide guidance to the Government, and deliver status reports on procurement and performance. This role requires an active DoD Secret clearance, US citizenship, and 5+ years of Army logistics experience (or 10 years with a HS diploma).

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required.
• US Citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of Army logistics planning/management experience, or a High School Diploma with 10 years of relevant experience.
• 5 years of pre-award procurement experience: requirements analysis, revisions to PWSS, procurement planning, and tracking.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Onsite work five days a week and travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain LOGCAP contract requirements packets (technical data, exhibits, diagrams) and verify completeness.
• Provide recommendations to the Branch Chief and requiring activity.
• Provide status reports and updates to Government on requirements, current and rising needs.
• Provide technical assistance and briefings to customers and Government staff on requirements packets and schedules.
• Perform technical reviews of contractor estimates/proposals for PPRs and change proposals.
• Monitor theater logistical priorities via daily operations and staff meetings.
• Possibly lead portions of meetings to support logistics activities.
• Maintain liaison with requiring activities, contractors, contracting officials and program staff.
• Analyze contractor workload data for past/next quarters and adjust projections.
• Prepare monitoring reports, briefings and information papers on schedules and metrics.
