Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a Senior Logistics Management Specialist to support the Army Sustainment Command (ASC) on the GLASS contract. The role focuses on developing and reviewing requirements packets, providing technical guidance, and coordinating with government staff.

Onsite presence is required, with travel up to 10% to remote locations. You will perform analyses of workload and performance, prepare briefings, and maintain liaison with contracting officials and program staff across the AOR/PMO.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• US Citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing U.S. Army logistics and acquisition activities or similar/related experience.
• OR a High School Diploma and 10 years of experience planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing U.S. Army logistics and acquisition activities or similar/related experience.
• 5 years of experience with pre-award procurement activities: analyzing and documenting requirements, recommending revisions to PWS, procurement/project planning/management, tracking procurement activities to ensure DoD compliance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to report to work onsite 5 times a week.
• Ability to travel up to 10% and travel to remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain LOGCAP contract requirements packets (technical data packages, exhibits, diagrams, etc.).
• Provide recommendations to the Branch Chief and/or requiring activity.
• Provide status reports to the Government on requirements, current and emerging.
• Provide technical assistance and information to customers and Government staff on packet generation and reviews.
• Perform technical reviews of contractor estimates/proposals for PPRs and change proposals.
• Monitor theater logistical priorities through attendance at daily operations and staff meetings.
• Lead portions of meetings in support of logistics to requiring activity.
