Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a Senior Logistics Management Specialist to support Army Sustainment Command (ASC) in LOGCAP-related activities. You will develop requirement packets, provide technical guidance, and maintain liaison with government staff and contractors across CONUS/OCONUS sites.

A DoD Secret clearance is required, with 5+ years of Army logistics experience and US Citizenship. The role emphasizes monitoring workloads, preparing briefs, and leading logistics discussions.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required.
• US Citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of Army logistics/acquisition experience or High School Diploma with 10 years of related experience.
• 5 years’ concurrent experience with pre-award procurement activities such as requirements analysis, PW revisions, procurement planning and tracking.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to report onsite 5 days a week.
• Travel up to 10% and ability to travel to remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain LOGCAP contract requirements packets; screen for completeness and accuracy.
• Provide recommendations to Branch Chief and requiring activity.
• Provide status reports to Government on requirements and schedules.
• Provide training and information to customers on packet development, reviews, validation, and scheduling.
• Perform technical reviews/analysis of contractor proposals in response to PPRs and change orders.
• Monitor theater logistical priorities via daily operations and staff meetings.
• Lead portions of meetings supporting logistics for requiring activity.
• Maintain liaison with requiring activities, contractors, contracting officials and PMO staff.
• Analyze performance contractor workload and projections for quarters ahead.
• Review projections and adjust for troop surges and seasonal requirements.
• Prepare monitoring reports and information papers on schedules, metrics, LOTDs, COPs.
• Recommend changes to operations requirements and PWS revisions.
• Research emerging missions, policies, and directives.
