Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a Senior Logistics Management Specialist to support Army Sustainment Command (ASC) on LOGCAP and related programs.

This CONUS/OCONUS role requires an active DoD Secret clearance, US citizenship, and the ability to report onsite five days a week. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining requirements packets, briefing customers and government staff, analyzing contractor proposals, monitoring workloads, and providing project schedules.

Qualifications

Active DoD Secret Clearance.
US Citizenship.
Bachelor's degree + 5+ years of experience in planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing U.S. Army logistics or related activities.
OR a High School Diploma + 10 years of related experience.
Concurrent 5 years of experience with pre-award procurement activities: analyzing and documenting requirements, recommending revisions to PWS/specs, procurement/project planning/management, tracking procurement activities to ensure DoD compliance.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to report to work onsite 5 times a week.
Ability to travel up to 10% and travel to remote locations for site surveys.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain LOGCAP contract requirements packets (technical data packages, exhibits, diagrams, etc.).
Provide recommendations to the Branch Chief and requiring activity.
Provide status reports and updates to the Government on requirements and schedules.
Provide technical assistance and briefings to customers and Government staff on packet development and reviews.
Review contractor estimates/proposals for Project Planning Requests and changes.
Monitor theater logistics priorities via daily operations meetings.
Lead portions of meetings in support of logistics requirements.
Maintain liaison with requiring activities, contractors, and program staff.
Analyze contractor workloads for past and future quarters.
Review projections and adjust for troop surge or seasonal requirements.
Prepare monitoring reports, briefings, and papers on schedules and performance metrics.
Recommend changes to operating requirements and mission changes.
Conduct in-depth research on emerging missions, policies, and directives.
