Job summary

Serco is seeking a Senior Logistics Management Specialist to support Army Sustainment Command (ASC) with the GLASS team, based in part in Zagan, Poland, with CONUS and OCONUS assignments. Candidates must hold an Active DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• US Citizenship.
• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing U.S. Army logistics and acquisition activities or similar/related experience.
• OR a High School Diploma and 10 years of experience planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing U.S. Army logistics and acquisition activities or similar/related experience.
• A concurrent 5 years of experience or similar with pre-award procurement activities such as: Analyzing and documenting requirements, Recommending revisions to performance work statements or specifications, Procurement / project planning/management, Tracking and monitoring procurement activities to ensure compliance with DoD policy, administrative procedures, regulations and statutes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• The ability to report to work onsite 5 times a week.
• The ability to travel up to 10% of the time and independently travel to remote locations and provide site survey estimates for emerging requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain LOGCAP contract requirements packets and review for completeness and accuracy.
• Provide recommendations to the Branch Chief and requiring activity.
• Provide status reports and updates to the Government on all requirements, current and emerging.
• Provide technical assistance and briefings to customers and Government staff on requirements packet development and submission.
• Review contractor estimates/proposals for PPRs and change proposals on service contracts.
• Monitor theater logistical priorities through daily operations and staff meetings.
• Lead portions of meetings in support of logistics to requiring activity.
• Maintain liaison with requiring activities, performance contractors, contracting officials, and PMO staff.
• Analyze monthly workload to project future quarters.
• Review projections and consider adjustments like troop surge or seasonal requirements.
• Prepare monitoring reports, briefings, and information papers on performance, LOTDs, and COPs.
• Provide recommendations to current/changed operations requirements and PWS revisions.
• Research and analyze emerging missions, policies, procedures, and directives.
