Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Federal Programs Army Project Director for the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast region to oversee Army contracts and coordinate with the Army Portfolio Lead to grow the Federal Programs team.

You will deliver engineering, architecture, planning, environmental, asset management and program management services, while strengthening client relationships and positioning WSP as the trusted partner for federal projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Planning, Architecture or related field.
  • 15+ years of proposing on and delivering AE planning, design, and construction‑phase services on DoD IDIQ contracts (Army IDIQs preferred).
  • 5+ years’ experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering/architectural teams.
  • Professional registration US licensed Architect or Engineer.
  • Ability to obtain a US Government issued Secret level Security Clearance.
  • Strong knowledge of Army clients and Federal contracting industry.
  • Experience leading strategy and marketing for Federal acquisitions; cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Proven track record of managing large and complex opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Execute A‑E services under Army contracts; support Army Portfolio Lead.
  • Grow the Federal Programs Army Program and deliver engineering, architecture, planning, and program management services.
  • Strengthen client and partner relationships to win new business opportunities.
  • Review project contracts, risk, pricing, and Project Execution Plans.
  • Monitor AR and unbilled revenue; address issues with PMs.
  • Lead monthly Operational Project Reviews and publish critical findings.
  • Coach and develop aligned PMs and staff; manage staff assignments.
