Job summary

WSP USA seeks an experienced Federal Programs Army Project Director to lead AE planning, design and construction oversight under Army IDIQs across the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast region, including potential placements in Arlington, VA and Glastonbury, CT.

You will drive strategy, client relationships and cross-functional team performance, overseeing budget, risk, and quality across a portfolio of DoD projects while delivering value to clients and employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Planning, Architecture or related field.
• 15+ years of AE project experience under DoD IDIQ contracts (Army experience preferred).
• 5+ years managing multi-disciplinary engineering/architectural teams.
• Professional registration US licensed Architect or Engineer.
• Ability to obtain a US Government issued Secret security clearance.
• Strong knowledge of Army clients and US contracting industry.
• Experience leading Federal acquisitions strategy and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven track record managing large, complex opportunities and pursuits.
• Strong business development skills to support client sponsors and managers.
• Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Lead Army program delivery across AE services and Army IDIQ contracts.
• Coordinate with regional leadership to forecast and manage project execution plans.
• Review project contracts, risk, and pricing, ensuring adherence to Quality plans.
• Drive budgeted net revenue via change management and value-added services.
