Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Federal Programs Army Project Director to lead the Army portfolio in the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast region, coordinating across multiple offices from VA to RI. The role focuses on delivering AE services under Army contracts and expanding the Army program with the Army Portfolio Lead.

The position requires 15+ years in AE planning/design on DoD IDIQs, 5+ years of leadership, and US security clearance eligibility. Strong BD and executive communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Planning, Architecture or related field.
  • 15+ years delivering AE planning and DoD IDIQ contracts.
  • 5+ years leading multidisciplinary engineering/architectural teams.
  • US licensed Architect or Engineer (professional registration).
  • Ability to obtain US Government Secret security clearance.
  • Experience with Army clients, federal budgeting and acquisitions strategy.
  • Strong business development, negotiation and executive communication.
  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver AE planning, design and construction oversight for Army contracts.
  • Grow the Federal Programs team’s Army program in collaboration with the Portfolio Lead.
  • Strengthen client and partner relationships and pursue new business.
  • Collaborate with operations across sectors and with regional/national leadership.
  • Manage project teams, budgets, risks and quality per policy.
  • Oversee staffing, resource loading and staff development.
  • Approve contracts, estimates, and project performance reports.
  • Monitor receivables, unbilled revenue, and project cash flow.
