Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Technical Specifications Writer to develop comprehensive project manuals for Architecture and Interior Design projects. You will collaborate with project teams to shape specifications, client masters, and submittal reviews while staying current on materials and industry standards.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in Architecture or Interior Design and at least 5 years writing specs, with strong communication and mentoring abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design preferred.
• 15+ years in Architecture or Interior Design with at least 5 years writing specifications.
• Strong computer, written and verbal communication skills.
• Extensive experience in construction and construction materials.
• Experience with MasterSpec, Bluebeam, Word and Excel preferred.
• Public speaking in front of groups is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project manuals for Architecture/Interior Design projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to create specifications and client masters.
• Support project teams with submittal review and reviews with Management Team.
• Mentor junior staff and stay updated on products and industry standards.
