Ware Malcomb is seeking a Technical Specifications Writer to develop comprehensive project manuals for Architecture and Interior Design projects. You will collaborate with project teams to create specifications, client masters, and support submittal reviews, shaping quality and consistency across the firm.

Ideal candidates bring extensive experience in construction materials, codes, and industry standards, plus strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design preferred.
• 15+ years in Architecture or Interior Design with at least 5 years writing specifications.
• Strong communication skills; experience with construction materials and standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive project manuals based on information from Management Teams.
• Suggest alternate solutions when necessary.
• Schedule periodic reviews for complex projects during document development.
• Review comments with Management Team and respond to questions or concerns.
• Mentor junior staff and share knowledge across the firm.
• Stay current on products, materials, codes and industry standards.
