Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. seeks an experienced Archaeologist to support Phase I–III cultural resource surveys and environmental permitting. You will contribute to CRM reporting, data management, and coordination with state and federal agencies while advancing project permitting and compliance.

The role involves fieldwork and up to 30% travel. A Bachelor’s is required; a Master’s is preferred, with 36 CFR Part 61 compliance and strong writing skills for documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in archaeology or anthropology required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Meet 36 CFR Part 61 Secretary of the Interior standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify cultural resources to support environmental permitting.
• Prepare NEPA documents and environmental reports.
• Provide primary report authorship in CRM for quality control.
• Coordinate with state and Federal resource agencies.
• Manage data after field assessments.
• Conduct fieldwork and travel up to 30%.
